Manitoba High School Students

As a Manitoba high school student, you should have the Manitoba High-School Diploma including the program-specific prerequisites listed below. 

For all Engineering programs (Including IDS Dual Degree)
  • English 40S 
  • Pre-Calculus Math 40S
  • Calculus 45A, Calculus 45S or AP Calculus 
  • Physics 40S
  • Chemistry 40S 
With no prerequisite grade below 70% 
Recommended average: Low to Mid 80s


For Computer Science or Computer Security 
  • English 40S 
  • Calculus 45A, Calculus 45S or AP Calculus
  • Senior-level math (Pre-Calculus Math 40S recommended) 
  • Two additional 40S level academic subjects (no more than one at the 40G level) 
  • For BSc and iBSc programs: one of the additional academic subjects should be Physics 40S or Chemistry 40S   
With minimum average of 75% on Math courses, with no Math grade below 65%  
Recommended average: Low 80s 


For Digital Media  
  • English 40S
  • Senior-level math (with minimum grade of 75%)
  • Three additional 40S level academic subjects (no more than one at the 40G level) 
Recommended average: High 70s 

For Earth & Atmospheric Science 
  • English 40S
  • Pre-Calculus Math 40S
  • Calculus 45A, Calculus 45S or AP Calculus 
  • Physics 40S
  • Two additional 40S level academic subjects (no more than one at the 40G level) 
Chemistry 40S strongly recommended for Atmospheric Science & Space Science streams 
Recommended average: High 70s
